DESERTSTAR PROJECT FOR THE MENTALLY DISABLED
A Pilot Project Program for the Coachella Valley
MISSION
The mission of Desertstar is to enhance the quality of life for mentally ill adults in the Coachella Valley. Desertstar will accomplish this mission by building an integrated housing development that will offer educational, social, vocational and therapeutic services in a "one-stop" environment. Desertstar's tenants will move from suffering to independent living because their environment will be free from stigma and loneliness. Desertstar owns 20 acres of land of hot mineral springs in DHS, Riverside County, California and is anxious to develop this program.

Upon completion, Desertstar Village plans to assists other communities throughout the United States in the development of this unique mental health program.
