BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The board of directors of Desertstar are local residents who have excelled in the business community, retired persons, and persons who have suffered and still suffer from mental disabilities. The Board of Directors are all unpaid volunteers who meet monthly to report on the nonprofit's fund-raising efforts and goals. Most of our members have adult children, siblings, parents or spouses suffering from mental illness. We all have firsthand experience in the suffering, unhappiness, depression, frustrations and lack of self esteem some of our loved ones experience daily.
